At least 3 fireplace departments and the county look for and rescue staff responded to the Rumpke landfill in Colerain Thursday after interaction was shed with two contractors inspecting a stormwater pipe, company officers stated.
The staff were being located all around 1 p.m. and appeared to be unharmed, Rumpke spokeswoman Molly Yeager stated.
Yeager stated that the contractors claimed the work just took longer than expected, and they dropped radio interaction. Yeager said the contractors were being never ever in any hazard.
Yeager stated a group of a few contractors have been doing a program inspection of the pipe which ranges in dimensions from 5 to 9 feet in diameter. Two of the contractors went inside the pipe and a third remained outside to retain communication, she explained.
