MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) — A 93-yr-previous homeowner took matters into his possess palms when he shot and critically injured a suspect who authorities say broke into the home in Moreno Valley.

The incident took place in the 24300 block of Eucalyptus Avenue about 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, in accordance to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. When deputies arrived, they identified 1 man or woman with a gunshot wound.

Investigators then determined that the home-owner was the one who opened fireplace.
