
A Nova Scotia restaurant has rolled out some new technology that is absolutely sure to serve up a smile.

The Could Backyard garden Chinese Cafe in Bedford, N.S., has released “Bella” to its team — a robot that can help deliver customers’ orders to their tables.

“Bella’s job is assisting us produce food to the buyers,” claimed Shu Ting Huang, who operates at Might Back garden. “I really like her because it will save a large amount of do the job for us and much more effectiveness.”

According to Huang, Bella follows sensors in order to make her way all over the restaurant.

“They set the sensors on our ceiling and then Bella will go… and adhere to the route,” Huang spelled out.

So far, she’s established to be a major hit, even attracting some new attendees to the eatery.

“My buddy, Heather, advised me that I experienced to go to May possibly Backyard and check out this tiny robotic that delivers out the food stuff,” claimed Chantal Jodouin, who visited the restaurant Monday to experience Bella’s provider. “So, I introduced my niece and we determined to arrive and have lunch so that we could meet up with Bella.”

“They really like it, in particular the youngsters,” said Huang. “They all want to say ‘Hello’ and ‘Thank you’ to Bella. They want to check out to talk to her, and they inquire questions like, ‘Can Bella sing?’ or ‘Can Bella inform tales?'”
