TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. – A Tumbler Ridge RCMP investigation is underway into numerous incidents of fraud involving an out-of-city contractor.
The fraud is composed of payment remaining obtained upfront from people, and then the contractor ceases all conversation with the victims as soon as the cash are deposited.
Mounties say, so significantly, they have reportedly recognized a number of victims but feel there are much more that have yet to appear ahead.
