Sam Kennedy is a Senior at the University of Notre Dame, and he is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
What tasks will you be working on/are involved with this summer season?
I will be encouraging the Commissioning Workforce at Anova on the INCOG challenge.
Have you labored at Shiel Sexton prior to?
Sure, this is my 3rd yr operating at Anova.
What is your past internship encounter (if any)?
I have worked with the Commissioning Group at Anova for the previous two years. I worked on the Langham venture and CJC venture my first yr. Past 12 months, I put in most of my time performing on the CJC job. I also labored on the intern undertaking for the very last two yrs.
What are you hoping to study this summer season with this internship?
I would like to get additional working experience working with the Commissioning Workforce. I was in a position to get some practical experience undertaking on-web page functional testing previous year at the CJC and I would like to study extra about how to do functional testing at the INCOG job. I would also like to proceed learning about how distinct mechanical programs function and how to go about tests them.
How will this internship advance your career?/ Where would you like your profession to go?
This internship permits me to see the authentic-entire world applications for the engineering principles that I have learned in university. As a result, this internship will help me understand how to apply my understanding to the actual world, which will enable me in starting my job. This internship is a great fit for me because I feel I would like to begin entire-time as a Commissioning Engineer.
What do you like about doing the job at Shiel Sexton?
I take pleasure in functioning with all the employees at Shiel Sexton and Anova. Every person has been welcoming and eager to support me if I have any questions. I also truly like the intern plan due to the fact it has permitted me to see what working day-to-day lifetime is like for a Commissioning Engineer.
