Summer season has arrived, and Edmonds in Bloom volunteers in June canvassed neighborhoods and the downtown Edmonds Enterprise District “planting” Edmonds in Bloom flags in entrance-garden gardens and storefronts containers — their way of declaring “thank you” to community gardeners for assisting to make Edmonds stunning.
The once-a-year Edmonds in Bloom Garden Tour is Sunday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early-chook tickets are $20 day of tour tickets are $25 (if out there). The range of tickets sold this year will be limited, and tickets are promoting rapidly. Tickets are on sale in downtown Edmonds at Bountiful Household, Area, and Back garden Gear & Gallery, and at Sky Nursery in Shoreline. Will-simply call tickets are obtainable online at edmondsinbloom.com.Proceeds from the Backyard Tour enable assist a wide range of projects and things to do in the group.

Conserve the date for the organization’s yearly Garden Party Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Edmonds Middle for the Arts. The program honors and thanks volunteers and celebrates floral routines that beautify the local community. Featured speaker will be author and columnist Lorene Edwards Forkner, a normal contributor to the “Grow” column for The Seattle Periods, and author of five gardening guides.
Edmonds in Bloom is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group devoted to advertising and marketing the floral beautification of the neighborhood by uniting the citizens, businesses and organizations of Edmonds, supporting horticultural education and learning, and building a colorful and lively put to stay, do the job and visit.
